The way we see it
Half Moon Bay is the quiet stretch of Akumal, protected by the same reef that keeps the water flat, thirty minutes south of Playa del Carmen and twenty north of Tulum. This is the smaller of the two houses on that beach: eight sea-view suites, each with a veranda or balcony, and enough room to gather sixteen people without ever feeling like a hotel.
Why we recommend it
Eight suites is the size where everyone still eats together. It suits the group that wants the beach and the chef and the privacy, without taking on a thirteen-suite estate.
The chef is included for every meal, which is what makes the arithmetic work in your favour.
What you'll experience
A pool on the beachfront with a wet bar and a rooftop terrace above it. Suites with king or twin beds, your choice, and the reef a short swim out.
Cribs and high chairs can be arranged, so the house works with small children in the group.
Minimum 3 nights · 5 in high season and holidays.
For larger groups, this house and the estate next door can be booked at the same time, subject to availability, each with its own reservation and its own rate.
