Nights of Kukulkán

The night Chichén Itzá lights up, a walk through the illuminated site and a video-mapping show on the pyramid.

The way we see it

The night Chichén Itzá lights up. The visit begins with a night walk among the illuminated structures of the archaeological site and ends in front of El Castillo, where a light-and-sound video mapping projected onto the pyramid tells the story of the Itza splendor. It is a completely different way to see the Mayan city: no sun, no midday crowds, and the pyramid itself as the screen.

Why we recommend it

The pre-show walk is the part we ask you not to rush: strolling the archaeological site at night, with the structures illuminated, is an experience of its own before the projection begins.
