Tulum Centro is the town itself, away from the beach road and the ruins: the main avenue and the streets around it, where most of the shops are.

- Step into small design boutiques and handmade stores
- Stop for a coffee, a gelato or a traditional paleta
- See the murals and street art on the streets around the center
- Visit Parque Dos Aguas, the town square, and the parish church next to it
- You may come across tequila and mezcal shops that offer a taste of their bottles
