Two cenote worlds in one outing, open sky and underground cave.

The way we see it

Cenotes come in two worlds: the open ones, all sky and sun, and the caves, all stalactites and torchlit blue. This outing refuses to choose: one of each, back to back, so the contrast does the storytelling.

Watching a first-timer surface inside a cave, eyes adjusting to a ceiling of stone, that's why we keep this one in the catalog.

Why we recommend it

One swim under the sun and one under the rock teaches more about this peninsula's geology than any museum, and both pools are chosen for clarity and calm, not fame.

What you'll experience

Sun first: an open pool ringed by jungle for the warm-up. Then the descent: cooler air, torch beams through blue water, a ceiling that took millennia to drip into shape. Private transport strings it together door to door.

A freediver descends through beams of daylight in the deep blue water of a cenote.

The chambers are large and the water open, most guests forget the ceiling within minutes. We'll match the cave to your group's comfort.

Swimsuit, towel, water shoes and a dry change, and biodegradable-only sunscreen, as in every cenote.
